In yesterday’s post I mentioned that I have difficulty keeping up with household management. When I left on Friday for my Women’s Retreat, the kitchen looked something like this:

When I arrived home last night it looked like this:

The New Testament tells husbands to love their wives as Christ loves the Church. My husband certainly loves me and demonstrates it in ways far beyond anything I might deserve. He led our children in tidying up the house. I am mightily blessed in my marriage. May I be a blessing to my husband and children as well.

Being open with one’s foibles means we also get to demonstrate God’s grace and blessings in our lives. 🙂
